London 200hr Yoga Teacher Training
About the Event
London 200hr Yoga Teacher Training
We will be offering our “gradual format” training course in 2025 at the ZenYoga studio in Camberwell, London. It is taught in-person over seven weekends interspersed with monthly online sessions. This format better suits a student that would prefer to spread out their learning, allowing for a slower and more gradual digestion and integration of the material.

It may look like the days are long, but there are plenty of breaks and the material is paced in such a way to make it very digestible. We suggest that you treat the weekends as “retreats” to allow yourself to be fully immersed in the practice and learning, so you can gain the most from the experience. We ask that you put your mobile phones and communications devices away during the learning periods. Completion of this course requires 100% attendance, so it is important to factor in travelling time to and from the venue – particularly on Sundays, when public transport options may be reduced – so that we can start on time at 7am on both days. It is also possible to mix the residential and non-residential elements to achieve the Zenways Yoga Alliance-accredited 200hr qualification.
About the course
We believe becoming a yoga teacher is about your personal journey, understanding and inner confidence. Rather than orientating our course around “our” way, we instead orientate ourselves around your path. We focus on giving you the principles and techniques to equip you for a lifetime of exploring, developing and teaching.
- Gain a comprehensive “tool kit” that allows you to find your true expression and develop as a teacher for the rest of your life.
- The course is uniquely based in the Yogacara (yoga practice) philosophy of Mahayana Buddhism, and was written by Zen master Daizan Skinner based on wisdom gained from 25+ years of Zen and yoga study.
- Accredited by the world-wide standards body Yoga Alliance.
- Join a growing family of Zenways teachers who have trained with us in the 15 years since this course began.
- To train with us you’ll need a minimum two years regular yoga practice (or equivalent).
Accommodation and meals
If you need to travel in from outside London, we suggest you stay with a friend or find an BnB on the Friday and Saturday nights. You will need to bring your own packed meals, drinks and snacks for both days. There is a kitchen with a fridge, sink, hot water for drinks and a microwave.
Equipment
There are plenty of yoga mats, props, cushions and blankets at the studio. There’s no need to bring your own unless you want to. For further information about the training, do get in touch.
