Yoga Teacher Training: Accreditation

Accreditation

A shiny new Zenways yoga teacher training graduate

Zenways is registered with world-wide standards body Yoga Alliance, and the UK-based Independent Yoga Network (IYN). The British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) limits its members to those schools based in Hinduism. The BWY is aware of this anomaly and is working to amend its rules so that it can accept the religious and cultural diversity within yoga. All three organisations vet and monitor teacher training standards.

The Yoga Alliance and IYN set the following levels of certification: a 200-hour training is for people who want to be regular yoga teachers. 500 hours is usually for people who want to train other teachers. You can be assured that with our qualification you can get insurance, international and UK recognition and after qualification you can put the letters RYT200 after your name (Registered Yoga Teacher 200hr).

Zenways teachers are active in health clubs, gyms and many other situations across the country as well as elsewhere in Europe, Asia, and America. Due to our Independent Yoga Network accreditation, successful graduates are eligible to join the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs – which is now is hosted and managed by CIMSPA, the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity), which has been set up to help safeguard and to promote the health and interests of people who are using the services of exercise and fitness instructors, teachers and trainers.
