Livi Michael

On the 100th anniversary of the publication of T.S. Eliot’s ‘The Wasteland’, join us for an afternoon of inspiration and exploration of this epic poem (and some lighter ones!). We will be meeting in the Fitzroy Hotel, where T.S. Eliot took his wife, Valerie Eliot, for drinks every day, and walking around some of the territory familiar to him in Bloomsbury.

Our aim will be to write our own experimental poetry – so bring notebooks and pens!

Livi Michael is a writer and teacher of Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. She is the author of Write Practice, a course linking writing practice to Zen practice. Her 20th novel, Reservoir, will be published next spring.
