You are invited to April Gensei Mannino’s inaugural teaching (teisho; dharma talk) as a Junior Zen Teacher, and to engage with her in dharma combat (hossen, meaning to answer questions from the sangha). After this, Gensei will formally be at the start of her career as a Zen teacher.

This will be on 29th January from 6-7:30pm – in-person at Yugagyo Dojo in Camberwell and online via Zoom. All attendees (in-person and online) will have the opportunity to participate in the ceremony by asking Gensei a question about his talk.

The ceremony will be followed by tea.
