CPD workshop: Fascia and ki
Fascia is the connective tissue of our body, the wrapping around everything. It is exceptionally strong, thin and flexible, and has remarkable semi-conducting properties. It’s only in the last decade or two that the role of fascia in the body has started to be taken seriously. Before that, it was just the “packing material” that was peeled away to reveal the interesting muscle or organ underneath.
In this workshop we will explore the fascinating world of fascia: the different types and physiological functions, it’s semi-conducting properties and how that relates to the energy meridians (ki channels or myaku) and how we can work with it in our yoga practice and class teaching.
This workshop will be listed on the Yoga Alliance YACEP directory and counts as 6 contact hours towards your CPD.
Please bring a cold vegetarian lunch to share. Tea will be provided.
